When bold spices meet bold visuals, the result is a shoot as mouthwatering as the menu itself. Our recent location shoot for O Yarra’s tandoori chicken meals and kebabs was a celebration of fiery flavors and the vibrant street-style charm that defines the brand.

Each dish was a visual feast—charred tandoori chicken glowing in smoky reds and oranges, skewers of juicy kebabs glistening with rich marinades, and signature dips and breads adding bursts of color. The color palette was carefully selected to reflect O Yarra’s brand identity, ensuring every frame felt cohesive and inviting.

But this shoot wasn’t just about food—it was about storytelling. O Yarra’s meals are more than delicious; they’re a cultural experience. Through every image, we aimed to capture that spirit: bold, warm, and unapologetically flavorful.

Fast food photography is always style-intensive. Precise positioning and thoughtful placement of ingredients are critical to achieving the perfect shot. Both food styling and photography play a key role in creating visuals that will be featured on the store’s menu boards. Because of the attention to detail required, a full day’s shoot typically covers only 10 to 12 items. That may sound modest in terms of output, but each hero image must be flawless—crafted to perfection.
