Stainless product Photography

Stainless steel product photography can be quite tricky due to its highly reflective nature. As a product photographer, problem-solving is one of my primary goals, and I love tackling reflections using various tips and tricks. For instance, I use two massive diffusion scrims to eliminate unnecessary reflections on the products.

When Corrine from The Low Tox Project introduced me to her amazing collection of products, designed to replace toxic day-to-day kitchenware, I was excited to shoot her homeware collection. It was a refreshing change from my regular food shoots, though it still had an important component of food styling. Corrine delivered the products to my home studio, and since last year, I've done three batches of kitchenware shoots with her. Creating a mood board and having it approved based on Corrine's vision was a crucial step in ensuring the final photoshoot aligned perfectly with her expectations.

I'm a big fan of stainless products, and her collection is truly amazing. I was even gifted a beautiful set of popsicle molds, and it's now a regular affair to enjoy homemade delicious ice cream packed with loads of fruits. The lunchbox series was particularly fun to shoot, and I loved incorporating healthy products into the lunch setups as part of a healthy lifestyle approach.
